  Can anyone relate to this painting right now? Reading the news these days..all the discord and lack of respect...lack of unity... makes me feel like sticking my tongue out at.the world. In the hindi religion Kali is the great destroyer.  Instead of being viewed as the evil one she is admired and seen as a necessary part of creation.  Although it's painful to see something you've worked hard on destroyed... sometimes it is necessary process.  It teaches us to see how we are attached to things remaining the "same as always" and then to practice "letting go" .  It also enables us to rebuild better.   I guess what's happening in our world must be necessary on some level because indeed, there seems to be nothing that can hold it back. Who sings that song, "you don't know what you've got til it's gone..pave paradise.. put up a parking lot".. joni Mitchell?  It's clear to me that I really didn't appreciate what we had before 2016...

 Tensions are building.  Many are looking for outlets.  What can we do with this fuse that is burning?  There are many techniques in the yogic tradition including breathing and poses to balance the energy in your body so that you can feel more grounded...not as easily triggered.  This class is for anyone.  We will do some stretches with coordination of the breath. Many can be adapted to a chair.  Props are available for balance challenged. We will learn hand postures (mudras) and mantras(chanting of powerful vibrations) and various breath patterns to help us release stress transform anger.    This is the 1st of many such sessions to come.  Date/time changed to SAT APRIL 12th.  4- 5:30.  Nurturing bonding time for couples Learn some feel  good moves from thai massage and swedish to help your partner experience a more balanced energy.  This results in better bonding and less arguments.  :).  Right now, this is offered as a private session for couples in your own home or at my space in shoreview.  If you're interested in a class (participants wear swim suits)...let me know and I'll work on a date.
