Date/time changed: De-fuse the anger & chaos

 Tensions are building.  Many are looking for outlets.  What can we do with this fuse that is burning?  There are many techniques in the yogic tradition including breathing and poses to balance the energy in your body so that you can feel more grounded...not as easily triggered. 

This class is for anyone.  We will do some stretches with coordination of the breath. Many can be adapted to a chair.  Props are available for balance challenged. We will learn hand postures (mudras) and mantras(chanting of powerful vibrations) and various breath patterns to help us release stress transform anger.   

This is the 1st of many such sessions to come.  Date/time changed to SAT APRIL 12th.  4- 5:30. Suggested cost is $20 per person.

Spring is in the air...(sometimes).   It was a nice sunny day.  I even got to cross country ski at Turtle Lake Park. The wind did make it a bit nippy tho, so I only went around the park one and 1/2 times.. Didn't make it onto the lake as I had planned. A new session of two months  will begin starting the first week of March.  It will run through the end of April for a total of 9 weeks.  You don't have to sign up for the entire session, we feel it is the way to feel the most successful in this practice at our studio.  It helps to create the sense of community that we appreciate so much during these times of political turmoil and confusion. Hiyala's class:  Tues am 9:30-10:45. Ruth teaches Thursdays "Chair Yoga" 5-6pm and "Body Flow" from 6:15-7:30pm. Hiyala also teaches a mat pilates class on Thursdays from 10-11am. How to book your yoga and massage

 I'm a bit old fashioned and i prefer the personal touch.  I prefer to talk to my clients and find out about them and their needs before they arrive for a class or a massage.  Please call or text me to make an appt for a phone chat.  Together we will determine which yoga class would work best for you or a good time for your massage or aerial yoga session. In my yoga classes, everyone is encouraged to go at their own pace.  We are currently focusing on  the chakras and the vibrations of these colors in our bodies as well as the energy of the elements.  In these days leading up to the holy days, we are doing a contemplative practice with periods of meditation.
