Yoga talk circle via zoom

 We're having a few "snow days here in Mn.  The creative juices are flowing.  Thinking about how i can contribute to the fine yoga pool of wisdom here in the cities and beyond.  Are you interested in learning more about yoga and all things related ?   Bring your questions. Bring new areas of interest to share with others.  Chakras?  Questions about how to modify poses?  Please email me your interest with subject heading "yoga talking circle". We will explore the option of antalking circle format.  


I have been a teacher and a massage therapist since 1993.  I would ask for sliding scale payment of 5-20 per hour session for my time to organize and moderate this session

  For new students!  or those who haven't been to yoga for awhile: Spring is a time of new possibilities.  If  you've been looking for a way to re-connect with your body in a meaningful way..... if you have a new commitment to creating better health for yourself, ... sign up for this yoga class.  For those who are more youthfull, athletic  or advanced, I will offer more challenging poses.  For those who are feeling stiff and less confident, (beginners), I will introduce you to some of the basic poses as well as the breathing that we do .  Please sign up by contacting me via email:  blaineyoga@gmail.com.  I will ask you to pay $10 in advance so that I know for sure that we will have enough people for a class.  I look forward to meeting you! Wednesday 4pm- 5:15 Free for new students! gentle yogaclass added : June 21

  This one time special Wed 4pm outdoor  class will be a gently challenging class. We will be on the floor half of the time and standing half .  benches and the walls  are used as support in balancing poses. Breathing and short meditations are woven into each class. Perfect for those who are a bit "out of shape" .  Extra challenges will be offered to those who are in great shape!   starting July 11th:   Tuesdays  4:30-5:45pm.   This is a semi private class and the cost is $20 per class.   Location :  small shelter  by osprey nest, behind Golden Lake Elementary school.   Watch for a half day retreat: Yoga, meditation, Thai massage and aerial yoga.  Let me know of your interest.  Also in Shoreview.

Spring is in the air...(sometimes).   It was a nice sunny day.  I even got to cross country ski at Turtle Lake Park. The wind did make it a bit nippy tho, so I only went around the park one and 1/2 times.. Didn't make it onto the lake as I had planned. A new session of two months  will begin starting the first week of March.  It will run through the end of April for a total of 9 weeks.  You don't have to sign up for the entire session, we feel it is the way to feel the most successful in this practice at our studio.  It helps to create the sense of community that we appreciate so much during these times of political turmoil and confusion. Hiyala's class:  Tues am 9:30-10:45. Ruth teaches Thursdays "Chair Yoga" 5-6pm and "Body Flow" from 6:15-7:30pm. Hiyala also teaches a mat pilates class on Thursdays from 10-11am.
